Management Committee of AMI had a meeting on the first day and set up three teams by delegating the responsibilities. One team led by Mr. Anwar Khan (Anu) and Mr. Arshad Ahmad for Rescue works and they are entirely responsible for rescue works, they will report back to Management Committee.  If the rescue team needs any support they can discuss with the Management Committee(MC).  Second team is led by Mr. A Rehman Bhat and Parveez Ahmad, the team will entirely be responsible for relief works, and they are also suppose to report back to MC, if they also need any support they will discuss with MC.

On the basis of the rapid assessment done in Choglamsar village the relief and rescue teams of AMI, Leh went to the village and did rescue works by cleaning the silt from the damaged houses and irrigation channels to rescue the missing child. After doing these works by more than 80 people in seven places the missing child body was not found. The houses filled with silt were all cleared and their materials were brought out and handed over to the owner of the house safely. In the meantime villagers from the upper side of Choglamsar requested the management committee for doing rescue works there as well as there are huge damages in that side of the village. A plan was again discussed and a team was sorted out for rescue works on 9th August 2010.
